Epworth Assembly and Epworth Church Association sponsor this annual business pitch competition in an effort to encourage new business in Mason County. Anyone with a business idea, who may need start-up funds to get their ideas moving forward, may apply. (A written business plan is not required.) The deadline for application is July 25. Five finalists will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and a live audience on Aug. 15 at Epworth. To learn more and to register, visit momentumstartup.org.

5:30 p.m. - social time with refreshments by Gloria Ann's Catering
6:00 p.m. - business pitches in front of a live audience
7:00 p.m. - winner announced
