Along with members of the media, the Chamber Alliance of Mason County will host a 2024 General Election Candidate Forum on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the West Shore Community College Administration Building (north atrium). This event will feature contested races for national, state and local positions. Races include: 2nd Congressional District, Michigan Representative 101st District, Michigan Representative 102nd District, Ludington Area School District Board, Mason County Central School District Board, Ludington City Council 5th Ward, Hamlin Township Supervisor, Sheridan Township Supervisor, Pere Marquette Charter Township Board, Sherman Township Board, Panel members: Lois Tomaszewski, editor of Ludington Daily News; Rob Alway, editor of Mason County Press; Steve Ruba, on-air personality at Synergy Media. Questions for state and federal offices are being collected.
