National Maritime Day at PLMM

Description

In honor of National Maritime Day declared in 1933, the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum is holding a two-day event at the museum with guided tours, knot-tying lessons, and harbor viewing with a docent (narrating the history of the local harbor). Guided tours of the museum will be available at 11 a.m. & 3 p.m.

Each day will have a unique presentation. Ben Traverse will talk about Sea Shanties, and Valerie Van Heest will present on the Golden Age of Steam.
