Free Screening of 'Kiss the Ground' featuring local conservation leaders

Thursday, March 21, 2024 (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join us at Mason County District Library for a free screening of 'Kiss the Ground' presented by Citizens Climate Lobby.

Narrated by Woody Harrelson, the documentary features a revolutionary group of activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians that band together in a global movement of "Regenerative Agriculture" that could balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world.

The film screening will accompanied by presentations on climate resilience with local conservation leaders including Koffi Kpachavi, Executive Director Grand Traverse Conservation District, Chris Gentry, Cadillac Area Land Conservancy, Dr. Jeremy Geist, Trout Unlimited's Great Lakes Stream Restoration Manager, and Dr. Sonja Siewert, WSCC professor of chemistry, Chair of the Science Division.
