CHAMBER ALLIANCE INVITES NOMINATIONS FOR DISTINGUISHED AWARDS
The Chamber Alliance of Mason County is now accepting nominations for its annual awards, recognizing the businesses, organizations, and individuals making a lasting impact on the local economy and community.
Award categories include Mason County Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Community Service, and Future Five. Nominations will be accepted through 5 p.m. on July 10.
The Chamber Alliance Awards celebrate excellence in innovation, leadership, community involvement, and economic development, honoring those who help strengthen and advance Mason County.
“This is a chance to recognize the people and organizations that make Mason County a stronger, more vibrant community,” said Brandy Miller. “Honoring their leadership, innovation, and service not only celebrates their achievements but also inspires continued growth and collaboration throughout our community.”
All nominations will be reviewed by the board of directors, with a selection committee narrowing the field to four finalists in each category. Finalists and award recipients will be recognized during the chamber’s annual awards dinner on Sept. 16 at The Lake House.
AWARD CATEGORIES
Future Five
The Future Five Award honors five emerging professionals in Mason County who are making a meaningful impact in their careers and communities while helping shape the region’s future. Recipients are recognized for their leadership, professional growth, and commitment to community involvement, all of which contribute to the area’s continued development and quality of life.
Nominees must be between the ages of 21 and 40 as of Dec. 31, 2026. Any individual who lives or works in Mason County may submit a nomination.
Business of the Year Award (more than 20 employees)
The Business of the Year Award recognizes a Mason County business that has demonstrated outstanding achievement, innovation, and leadership, particularly over the past year. The award honors a business that excels in areas such as sales growth, customer service, workplace culture, operational excellence, and community involvement.
Recipients are recognized for their ability to adapt to changing market conditions, foster a positive work environment, and make a meaningful impact on the local economy and community. Nominations are open to Chamber members who exemplify a strong commitment to business success and community engagement.
Small Business of the Year Award (20 or fewer employees)
The Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a Mason County small business that has demonstrated exceptional achievement, innovation, and growth, particularly over the past year. This honor is awarded to a business that exemplifies excellence in sales performance, customer service, satisfaction, leadership, and community engagement.
The recipient is distinguished by their ability to adapt to changing market conditions, cultivate a positive workplace culture, and make a meaningful contribution to both the local economy and community. Nominations for this award are open to Chamber members who have shown a strong commitment to business success and community impact.
Community Service Award
This award recognizes an individual or group that has made meaningful contributions to the community through volunteer service. The recipient(s) are honored for their commitment to enhancing the quality of life in Mason County, with a focus on their efforts and accomplishments over the past year.
The award celebrates those who go above and beyond in their dedication to serving others, inspiring the community through their selflessness, leadership, and lasting positive impact.
