Cartier Mansion was voted Best Historical B&B in the country in the 2024 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards contest – a fitting tribute in the Lake Michigan city that was named “Best Historic Small Town” in the country by USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers' Choice Awards just four months ago.

One of two B&Bs from Michigan on this prestigious list of 15 B&Bs nominated across the country that was shortlisted to 10, the 1905 Neoclassical Cartier Mansion landed the #1 spot among B&Bs in such popular U.S. destinations as Denver, Philadelphia, Cape Cod and Kentucky bourbon country.
